Outside Conference

Conferences for our integrated residency and independent fellowship program participants :

Residents and fellows are also given the option to attend a one-week Global Surgery Elective which is in conjunction with the Interplast South Medical Mission Trip to Honduras. This occurs once yearly. It is traditionally the PGY 5 or 6 Integrated Resident and the Independent 2 or 3 Fellow that attend, but it is flexible depending on individual interest. This is an approved, optional elective rotation that does not utilize individual vacation time.
